As vaccines roll out across the country, one nursing home is beginning to return to normalcy. The Good Shepherd Nursing Home in West Virginia finished its coronavirus vaccines, allowing for residents to safely reconvene after over a year of lockdown. Residents were once again able to dine together in dining halls, rather than in the solitude of their own rooms. They could talk with one another and enjoy each other's company, though they still have to wear masks and keep their distance from one another. Relatives are still not allowed to visit, though for many of the residents, being able to enjoy one another's company once again is enough for them.
