Hello everyone- I am thrilled to announce our blog's new sub-segment: Device Description! We will focusing on new technological advancements and innovations that can help our elderly community. Through on new and/or relatively well-known & popular digital devices on the market, presenting the facts and making recommendations based on what we learn, we hope to help shed light on information that is rarely touched upon.
Through writing the "Ageism in the Workforce" article (in the culture category), I realized that there is a large division in the digital world that far too often isolates our seniors, both within and outside of workplaces. Thus, through the "Device Description" sub-segment, in which articles will still be found under the tech category, we hope to review inventions/innovations that can empower and support our elderly. To distinguish "Device Description" articles from other articles in the tech category, each one written as a part of this sub-segment will be titled in this format- "Device Description: ___".
